Intermediate Filmmaker Experience (5th-8th Grade)

This immersive and innovative semester long experience is for young, serious students looking to take the plunge into all aspects of filmmaking and acting for the camera! With the help of our professional filmmakers, students will work as a group to conceive, write, act, direct, and even edit their very own short film where they are the creators AND the stars! From concept to creation, the class will create a fully-produced Applause short film, and gain extensive skills, knowledge, and expertise in all aspects of filmmaking. This class culminates in a screening where the students, family and friends get to see their film on a big screen, as well as on our viral YouTube channel with over 1.3 million subscribers! If you are excited by the idea of becoming a professional actor or filmmaker, do not miss this premiere class!
