Backstage Basics: Lighting and Sound (4th-12th Grade)
Have you ever been completely mystified by the flash of the lights that danced around the room, that incredible costume change you can’t quite figure out how they pulled off in 3 seconds though you never saw anyone leave the stage, or where those crazy sound effects came from that made you feel like you were transported to another universe? Then this is the class for you!
Whether you’ve never stepped foot on a stage or you’re no stranger to the spotlight, join us and learn about some of the elements from the backstage world that bring a show together! Taught by a production team that has been working on shows on the Broadway, Off Broadway, Regional and Touring level, you’ll learn and gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of Technical Theater!
